Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 16, 2026

tl;dr

Flux collects no personal information. Everything — including the wallpapers you create — renders and stays on your device. There are no servers holding your data, because there are no servers.

What we store, and where

DataWhere it livesUploaded?
Selected field & app settingsYour device only (local storage)No
Stills & Live Photos you exportYour device's Photos libraryNo
In-app purchase recordApple App Store accountHandled by Apple
Network accessPurchase verification only (StoreKit)Platform SDK only

The shaders run entirely on your device's GPU using Metal. The light follows your finger locally — nothing about your interaction is recorded or transmitted.

What we don't collect

Photo library access

When you export a still or Live Photo, Flux requests permission to add to your Photos library — and only to add. It never requests read access, never browses your existing photos, and never sees anything in your camera roll. The file goes from the app to your album and nowhere else.

Third-party services

The only third-party integration is Apple's billing library, StoreKit, used to verify the one-time unlock. It's governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We add nothing on top of it.

Children's privacy

Flux is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect nothing, there is nothing to delete or request.

How to delete your data

Uninstall the app. Your selected field and settings are removed from your device with it. Wallpapers you exported live in your own Photos library and stay there until you remove them — they were always yours. We have no server-side data to delete, because we never had any.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes, we'll update the effective date above. Since we collect no personal data, any change is unlikely to affect you meaningfully.
